First take: 'Trinity'

Published Tuesday, Sep 22 2009, 12:38 BST | By Dan French | 13 comments
This week, we're asking what you thought of ITV2's sexy new teen drama Trinity. Featuring sex, drugs, violence - and a splash of murder - the series is fronted by former Demons and Echo Beach star Christian Cooke. But did it do the trick for you?

Cooke was seen flashing the flesh in almost every scene (more here if you need a reminder) but was that enough to make you tune in on Sunday? With The Office's Ash Atalla behind the project, could Trinity be destined for big things? Or will it die as quickly as Demons? Cast your vote in our poll then feel free to sound off in the usual place below!

My God, is the world full of self-righteous pillocks, or have I just stumbled on where you all hang out? I have no idea what Trinity was "supposed" to portray; but I found it a good mix of St Trinians smut, Bil & Ted's stupid slap-stick with just enough of American Gothic's lurking macabre. So, lighten up; it's what you need on a Sunday night before the thought of Monday morning ruins your weekend!

I wish all God Squad were as "frumpy" as Charlotte Arc - she's a Christian cracker!

LOVED IT!!!

It's like Fame only without any talent at all. God awful. Hopefully Christian Cooke will help it sink out of sight just like Demons. Charles Dance must be short of cash to be taking part in this.

If Christian's naked but mute. The accent pisses me off.

Where's the "it was awful, but I'll be tuning in next week for more hilarity!" option?! (spent the whole episode laughing at how terrible it was, and enjoyed it very much on that basis!!)

I literally thought this show was a comedy in the vein of Psychoville, but just very bad. And then I discovered it was a Drama and well my head is all kinds of confused. It is terrible.

This is an ingenious amalgam of a number of genres with excellent dialogue to glue it together

I only watched it because they used my uni (Royal Holloway) in a lot of the shots. The plot was pretty dire...

if they were trying to grip viwers then tis episode didnt do the trick but the next time trailer just swayed me into watching it again. please no more sex i think this is the only time ive been bored of sex

Utter rubbish. I'm sick of ITV stereotyping Christians as frumpy geeks. They did the same on an episode of 'Moving Wallpaper' (Echo Beach version). It's time all religious groups were represented more genuinely.

Well done ITV, three for three. Britannia High - Demons and now Trinity. All godawful!

Not sure what this is supposed to be comedy, drama or what! The characters are either elitist, classist, misogynist, chauvinist and racist - and any other word that ends in ist and no redeeming features. The 2 leads have the chemistry of a damp squid and Christian Cooke's charachter is trying to Chuck Bass but he's not even close! Oh and how does everyone on the show have sex with their pants on...mysterious!!!! I might tune in again next week only to find out what Charles Dance is up to in the basement !!
