We love this show and wait for it every week! The characters are brilliantly played

Marion should have married Guy at the end of Series 2. They had so much chemistry and a really intense romance. Marion's death effectively killed the program. I only watched series 3 for Guy of Gisborne. The writing and stories and many of the other characters were terrible in series 3. I liked Archer, though.

I loved the show soo much and was gutted when Marian died in the S2 finale, and when pretty much everyone died at the end of S3! Killing Marian was the start of it all going wrong though in my opinion, because even though I was totally hooked through S3, it just wasn't the same. Plus I HATED Kate (and Isabella got on my nerves too!) and how quickly Robin fell for her after Marian - isn't their love a big part of the legend?! But, even though I thought Robin's death was wrong, it was done very well with Robin and Marian reunited. Series 4 would have been too strange without Robin, and apparently it wouldn't have had Much either and he provided most of the comedy! I also read Archer was going to take over, and the whole 'Robin Hood isn't a man, it's a concept' thing seemed to be building up to that, which might have been interesting, but I doubt it would have been worthy of the other series'. So really, even though I'm going to miss one of the best things ever on TV, I think it was probably the right time to end it. I probably could have said that in a lot less words but I got carried away!!!

i was so sad at marians death, she was prematurely murdered by gisbourne and he was forgiven! in my opinion robin and marian shold have rode off into the sunset.

i was obsessed with the series until they killed marian. i think that they should have had 2 series' of robin hood with marian and then concluded it at series 3. no way killed marian. i was in mourning for months. i have met lucy griffiths a few times though and i saw her in her play 'Arcadia' so i have been reconciled.

The show suffered from miscasting(Jonas Armstrong, Lucy Griffiths,) stupid scripts, and constantly repeated scenarios ripped off from the other, better versions of Robin Hood.Richard Armitage looked bored in all 3 series.

I allways found it a fun show im gonna miss it , it looked like they were prepping Archer to be the new Robin Hood, might be cool to explore that.

Yes it was the right decision to axe it. It wasn't much good in the first place even before they killed off the main characters!

I think it was right to axe it as they killed off basically all of the main characters. If they made a new series it would have been rubbish. Gonna miss it :( love that show.

Good riddance to a badly written, indifferently acted and filmed piece of expensive tosh.
