Published Sunday, Jan 31 2010, 19:26 GMT | By Neil Wilkes | 3 comments
Following in the footsteps of music legends Paul McCartney (1995), Sir Elt (1999) and Jacko (1991), Coldplay frontman Chris Martin is to appear in The Simpsons.
In the episode, 'Million Dollar Maybe', Homer blows off a date with Marge to buy a lottery ticket. A ticket which subsequently wins him the million-dollar jackpot! Trying to keep his fortune a secret, Homer starts treating his family with "anonymous" gifts. But when Bart learns the truth, he encourages Homer to have a little more fun with the money, so the pair get front row seats to a Coldplay concert.

The Simpsons airs tonight at 8/7c on Fox. In the UK, this episode airs on Sky1 in March.
