Laura Bryne: "Are there any plans for the BBC gameshow 'The Murder Game' to be resurrected? To the best of my recollection, there was only one series a couple of years ago, but I for one found it great viewing for weekend telly and would love to see such a refreshing reality show make a return."

Neil: As would I, Laura, as would I, but irony strikes a cruel blow. Unfortunately it seems that this show's uniqueness was lost on the masses - on both sides of the Atlantic. The US series, Murder in Small Town X, has popped up on Challenge TV in the past so keep an eye out for future repeats if you haven't already seen it.

Jonathan: "Do you if any Terrestrial broadcaster has picked up the Fox sitcom Kitchen Confidential?"

Neil: My understanding is that it will be exclusive to Paramount - for the time being, at least. And if it lasts, of course.

Philip: "I know that Jonathan Ross starts his new series on 9 September, but when does Frank Skinner begin?"

Neil: Thursday, September 29, running through the start of December. Guests on the first show include Freddie Flintoff and Jon Bon Jovi.

Paul Hadley: "Do you know if the Late Show With David Letterman has been confirmed for ITV4?"

Neil: Watch... This... Space...

Dee Caprio: "Dear Neil any word if and when the second season of the show 4400 will be shown? Will the second season of Dead Like Me be broadcasted in the near future? As always you are 'Da Bomb Diggity'! Thank you for all your insight and scoops. I am one of your biggest fans! Hey how about a Neil Wilkes show!!!!! It would be great, you could be live on Sky digital giving us all the scoops of upcoming broadcasting, what shows and series got the axe and who and what to watch...... You go guy! Us TV pototoes would love it!"

Neil: The second season begins with a two-hour premiere airing Tuesday, September 27 at 8pm. No more Dead Like Me, I'm afraid. And as for your latter suggestion, a complementary supply of extra-strength medicine is on the way to you. But look out for something slightly in that direction next month.

Samuel:When will Gordon Ramsay be back on channel 4, and what will he be doing?"

Neil: A food show called The F Word, beginning next month. The weekly series will adopt a "big, bold and noisy" approach with recipes, advice and discussion.

Rob: "When is the new series of 'Charmed' starting on five?"

Neil: Tonight (Saturday) at 8.05pm.

John: "Do you know if FX sitcoms Starved and It's Always Sunny In Philladelphia have been picked up yet?"

Neil: No decision yet, but given that both did pretty poor ratings, it's unlikely.

Jackie N.: "Any news on when this joint-funded production Rome with HBO will hit BBC2? I hear it's going down a storm in the US..."

Neil: It is, so much so that a second season has already been commissioned (on HBO's part). I'm guessing early next month for the UK.

Dean Steele: "Can you tell me when the second series of The Match and Rescue Me are going to be shown (if ever), please?"

Neil: The Match kicks off Sunday, October 2 at 7.30pm (with trials airing the preceding weekend). As for Rescue Me, expect early 2006.

More next Saturday!
