|Hold tight - it's coming...|
Karl Purdon: "In the pre-launch tv advertising of Walk Away and I Stumble there was a song playing through out the adverts, any idea what that song was?"
Neil: 'This Woman's Work' by Kate Bush.
Anon: "Will Bodies be back for a series 3?"
Neil: Looks unlikely. Although the show had much acclaim, poor scheduling meant it couldn't quite delivered the required numbers on the terrestrial schedules.
Kare: "Season 1 of Everwood must be coming to an end shortly before Christmas. Will ITV1 be showing season 2 and will it continue straight after Christmas?"
Neil: Now the first season has wrapped on ITV1 I've been bombarded with an obscene amount of emails this week asking about its return. The good news is that ITV1 have picked up the second season but there's no exact date for a comeback just yet - watch this space...
Emma: "When is the next series of Smallville starting in the uk?"
Neil: Early January, I'm led to believe.
Matthew: "I've heard that there is a Thanksgiving episode of Friends. Is this true and if it is when will we get to see it?"
Neil: If you're thinking of a new episode, you're wrong. Else, there are two seemingly relevant episodes: 'The One With The Thanksgiving Flashbacks' (season 5, episode 8) and 'The One With The Late Thanksgiving' (season 10, episode 8). Neither are scheduled for broadcast on E4 in the coming weeks, although you can see a 7-hour marathon of seasonal episodes from 2pm on Christmas Day.
Kassi: "Do you know if they will be airing the whole of charmed season 7 before they begin airing season 8?"
Neil: I'm guessing by "they" you mean Living TV, so yep.
Mike: "Loving Tube Talk. I'm a big fan of your vast knowledge and contacts! Just wondering, do Five have any plans to show Joey: Season Two and if they do... have you any idea when it'll air?"
Neil: They will. My guess is early February. Season one will be repeated in the newly vacant Family Affairs slot, weekdays from the first week of January.
Mike: "Just a quick query, with all the music channels available on sky, do you know if CMT (country music television) may be available soon?"
Neil: No, it won't. Although long term I expect you'll see something along those lines resurface.
Two Sheds: "Are we ever likely to see NYPD Blue on our screens again?"
Neil: FX every night around midnight. Also, for those who have been asking, Third Watch season two will air on the channel weekdays at 7pm from February 1.
Stephanie: "Hi Neil, I have heard a rumour that there maybe a danceoff between contestants of both Strictly Come Dancing UK and Dancing With The Stars US, is this the case and if so do you know which stars would be taking part and when it will be aired? I would love to see Joe McIntyre on UK tv again but of course I would want a UK win!"
Neil: Yes, this is true: the special airs just one week after the third series finale - Christmas Eve at 6.25pm. The US participants include Rachel Hunter and Evander Holyfield while flying the UK flag will be Jill Halfpenny and the top three couples from the current series.
Th\at's all for now - more next Saturday!
