Prakash: "Im want to see nude newsreaders."
Neil: .. but evidently not as sick as some people.
Stephanie: "I have been searching the internet for a Region 2 version of season 1 Veronica Mars and all I can find is Region 1 USA. Do you know if this great show will be released on Region 2? Please please try to find out for me."
Neil: There's nothing planned at the minute - my suspicion is that it will take a terrestrial pickup before the studio would consider it. Like you, I've been holding out for an R2 release. We'll get through this together, Stephanie.
David Archer: "Hi Neil. I heard that ITV4 will be showing 'Surface', the new US sci-fi series but can't find it in the schedules. Any idea when it will be seen here? Also do any of the networks plan to show 'Invasion' ?(another US series on the same lines)"
Neil: It's now ITV2 and yes, there's a date at last: Mondays at 9pm from January 9. As for Invasion, Channel 4 is planning a big Lost-style premiere on Sunday, January 8, sandwiching the first two episodes around Celebrity Big Brother (at 8.30pm and 10pm respectively). Ep 3 airs at 11pm on E4.
Becca: "Any news on whether Sky is going to be showing series 3 of the excellent Las Vegas? And if it's not too much bother, the second series of Rescue Me? Thanks in anticipation!"
Neil: I've heard nothing on Las Vegas, but Rescue Me season two has been pencilled for Sunday, February 26 (10pm).
Kara: "I cant believe i've only just discovered your column! Its fantastic! So, I was wondering if you know when the next season of ER would be airing on E4?"
Neil: Thanks for the comments, Kara. The seemingly immortal ER premieres Thursday, Jan 5 at 9pm.
Joseph Thavarajah: "when is smallville season 5 being shown on e4? I now is january but which date in january?"
Neil: It looks like E4 is using Celeb BB as a big launching pad for a whole host of new and returning series in the first couple weeks of January. Smallville makes its premiere Monday, January 9 at 9pm.
Lee: "Hi Neil, do you know when Kath & Kim will be back on the BBC? Or if Living have plans to repeat seasons 2 and 3?"
Neil: No start date for season two on the Beeb yet but Living TV begins repeating the series every Friday at 8.30pm from January 20.
Rob: "Do you know when the Lost season finale will be? And will Channel 4 get it before E4 again, as they did with the Desperate Housewives finale?"
Neil: Yes and yes. The two-hour, g-ripping finale airs Wednesday, January 11. As for the housewives, they'll be back the week after.
Donna: "Dear Neil, can u please tell me when i will be able to see Scott Cohen in numbers in the uk?"
Neil: Season 2, episode 6 - a good episode, also featuring John Heard of Home Alone (and Prison Break!) fame. Unfortunately season two hasn't started on ITV3 yet and probably won't for a good few months.
Vivienne Ohayon: "Do you know when Season 3 of The OC will be shown in the UK?"
Neil: I do. What's it worth?
Gary Francis: "Hi Neil please can you tell me if hollyoaks spinoff let loose is going to be released on dvd, thank you gary!!!"
Neil: Nope. And a second series is now looking unlikely: ratings have steadily slipped from around 250k to just 80k in recent weeks.
Eesha: "HI... OMG have just discovered ur column & it is now my TV BIBLE.. LOL... anyways was just wondering if Living (or any1) has picked up the rights 2 Australia's Next Top Model Season 2... & also u said a few weeks ago that Channel 4/E4 have got the rights 2 Reunion but as it has been cancelled in the US is it gonna b shown here cos I saw eps 1 & 2 when I was in America & I LOVE IT.... THANX"
Neil: No word on Aussie Model 2 yet, although it did solid numbers for them so I would expect so. It's likely they'd air it after the new US season ends in March. As for Reunion, yes they will still show it but there's no firm airdate just yet.
Alison Keys: "When will episode 16 of Medium be on BBC1 - I see it is not in its usual slot next Tues (20th Dec)? Also, I gather that the series finale is a cliff-hanger, so will BBC1 be showing series 2, and if so, when?

Neil: One moment, allow me to think. Hmm... yes, I'm pretty sure it will be back on January 10. Coincidentally, the same night as The OC on E4.
