'Chickens': New sitcom from 'The Inbetweeners' stars - First look

If you're still feeling a little glum about The Inbetweeners coming to an end, then cheer up - the show's stars Simon Bird and Joe Thomas, along with Jonny Sweet, have created a new sitcom for Channel 4!

Set during the First World War, Chickens follows three young men - George (Thomas), Cecil (Bird) and Bert (Sweet) - as they remain behind in a sleepy English village while the nation's heroes go to war. The local ladies are far from impressed with the trio, but will they be able to prove their worth in what is now a woman's world?

Chickens airs on Friday, September 2 at 10.30pm on Channel 4.
