But what do you fancy in the next seven days? A new watercooler entertainment show? Some comedy? Reality? Or how about a fancy awards do? It's all here, so read on to find out what we've picked out for you this week...
Red or Black?: Sunday at 6.45pm on ITV1
He brought us The X Factor. He brought us Britain's Got Talent. And now Simon Cowell's brought us a brand new telly show which is sure to get us all talking! So did you watch Red or Black? last night? If not, never fear - there's still time to get involved. In fact, the show's on every day this week except for Tuesday (there's some pesky football on, or something). But what's Red or Black? all about? Well, for once there's no talent involved. Yes, it's pure luck. Groups of contestants take part in challenges in which they have to make a 50/50 choice, until they're whittled down to just two. Then it's time to gamble with the aim of winning a cool £1m. Could be compelling stuff.

Mercury Prize: Live: Tuesday at 10pm on BBC Two
Okay, so it's not as glamorous as the Brits. Okay, so it's not as jaw-dropping as the VMAs. But the Mercury Prize has a place in many people's hearts - it's a straightforward prize for what the judges reckon is a good album. Pretty simple, right? The BBC's resident music bods Jools Holland and Lauren Laverne are your hosts for the evening, and you'll get all the action straight from London's swanky Grosvenor House. Oh, and all of the nominees will be performing! But which of the 12 contenders will be taking home the coveted gong? Check out the list of hopefuls here and tune in to find out!
Happy Endings: Thursday at 9.30pm on E4
There's a whole heap of new US comedies coming to E4 in the coming months - another TV rom-com Perfect Couples also debuts at 8.30pm - but Happy Endings is a cut above. The show stars FlashForward's Zachary Knighton as Dave, a man left heartbroken when his fiancée Alex (24's Elisha Cuthbert) ditches him at the altar. Knighton and Cuthbert are surrounded by a strong supporting cast and the jokes come thick and fast. A second season has already been commissioned, so this is definitely one worth checking out!

Big Brother - Live Launch: Friday at 9.30pm on Channel 5
So what have you made of Channel 5's take on Celebrity Big Brother? The antics of Jedward, Tara, Darryn et al will come to an end on Thursday night, and 24 hours later, Big Brother gets back to doing what it does best - picking a bunch of nobodies from obscurity and giving them their 15 minutes. Could the new Big Brother reach the heady heights of the Channel 4 show's early years, or will it just be a big damp squib once the early buzz has died down? You'll have to tune in to know for sure.

QI: Friday at 10pm on BBC Two
If Big Brother's not your thing, you'll be pleased to hear that two comedy favourites are returning to the BBC this week! We've picked out QI, which is back on BBC Two for its new series (its tenth, can you believe it?) Naturally, host Stephen Fry and stalwart Alan Davies are back, and for this episode they're joined by Lee Mack, Sandi Toksvig and Jimmy Carr. You can always rely on QI to teach you something new! If you're looking for even more comedy on Friday, tune your telly box to BBC One half an hour earlier - fun (and sometimes jaw-droppingly enlightening) panel show Would I Lie To You is back at 9.30pm.
