What is Channel 4's Greatest Ever Comedy? - poll

By
Channel 4 has brought us many brilliant things during its 30 years of broadcasting. Endless Countdown and Deal or No Deal. Big Brother scandals. Jon Snow's ties. Incredible US drama imports. Come Dine With Me marathons.

However, across its 30 years, one single strand of output has burned brighter than any other - comedy.

Need reminding of C4's impressive output since its birth in 1982? Here's a quickfire reminder off the top of our head of some its greatest shows.

Father Ted, Phoenix Nights, Spaced, Big Night Out, The Adam & Joe Show, Da Ali G Show, Brass Eye... *takes breath*... The IT Crowd, Harry Hill, Nathan Barley, The Inbetweeners, Drop The Dead Donkey, Teachers. We could easily go on.

To mark the channel's birthday, later this month, Channel 4 will air a Funny Fortnight. Featuring some classic old faces (Harry Hill, Vic & Bob) and some new shows (Blake Harrison sketch show Them from That Thing, Frankie Boyle's variety series).

Digital Spy wants to mark the occasion by counting down the funniest ever Channel 4 shows, as voted for by you. We'll be counting down the Top 10 next week after collecting all your votes and comments.
