We're sure The Queen is as anxious as the rest of you to find out when Dexter, Vampire Diaries and Gossip Girl will be back on UK TV, or hear teasers about the new series of Merlin and Being Human. Your move, Liz...
When is the new season of Dexter airing in the UK?
Season seven of Michael C Hall's serial killer thriller - which is being hailed as a return to form by US critics - only kicked off Stateside this past Sunday (September 30) and our friends at FX UK still have the rights to screen the show in this country.
The estimated air date we're hearing from them right now is early 2013, which usually means anywhere from January to around March time. Last year, Dexter's sixth run made its UK debut on March 30, so a similar launch date this time round seems likely.
Is the new series of Being Human in production yet?
It is indeed. Block 1 of the paranormal drama's fifth series wrapped last month, with cast and crew currently hard at work on Block 2, with a 2013 air-date currently being eyed by BBC Three.
Oh and if you're desperate for some new Being Human scoop, then we've got some great news for you - a correspondent for Tube Talk is on the show's Wales set this very day interviewing the cast, so keep an eye out for our exclusive video content a little closer to transmission!
When is The Vampire Diaries coming back on ITV2?
Sink your teeth into this meaty gossip, UK Diaries fans - you can start swooning over Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) again on Monday, October 15 at 9pm. That's a mere four days after it airs in the US! Good work ITV2.
Of course, the big draw for season four is that Elena (Nina Dobrev) is transitioning into a vampire (don't you dare complain at spoilers). How will she take the news? Well, judging from this sneak preview of the premiere, probably not that well. We literally can't wait!
And if you've got a soft spot for the supernatural, you'll want to stick with ITV2 after Vampire Diaries for Switch, which stars Lacey Turner and Hannah Tointon of The Inbetweeners as members of a 21st century witches coven. Forget broomsticks and bubbling cauldrons, these girls prefer casting spells that will erase their boss's memory after a sweary outburst or make them irresistible to gay guys. It's a lot of fun, and it begins October 15 at 10pm.
I know actors from Game of Thrones are going to be in Merlin - can you tell me anything about their characters?
Certainly! First up, Liam Cunningham - who you may recognise as the Onion Knight, Davos Seaworth - pops up in series five's opening two-parter 'Arthur's Bane' as Ruadan, a no-good sort with magical powers who may present an enormous threat to Camelot...
Then later in the series, Samwell Tarly himself John Bradley will be popping up as a stable boy named Tyr Seward. By the way, if you haven't already, check out our teasers for the Merlin series five premiere - it's a corker!
Will Channel 5 ever start showing Castle again? Big Brother has been over for weeks now.
Yes it has! And yes they will! The last time we mentioned Castle on Channel 5 was way back in July, when we brought you the devastating news that the second half of season two would not commence until 2013.
Happily, we can now reveal that Channel 5 have shifted forward Castle's comeback to November, which means it's just one more month until we're reunited with Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic. Yay! The representative couldn't confirm an exact date for us yet, as the schedules are still being shuffled around, but we promise we'll let you know the instant!
Arrow looks amazing. Any idea when it's coming to the UK yet?
Oh yes. Stephen Amell will be slipping into the snug Green Arrow outfit previously occupied by Smallville's Justin Hartley (hopefully after putting it through the wash) for this grittier take on the superhero, which we can reveal will hit the UK on Monday, October 22 at 8pm on Sky1.
There's been all kinds of rumours about what will be going down in Arrow (will Batman really be making an appearance?), but among the stuff we do know is that Jessica de Gouw will play sexy supervillainess The Huntress and DS's mate John Barrowman is set to appear in some form. Sounds like Arrow is going to hit the bullseye (nudge, nudge).
I can't believe it's the last season of Gossip Girl! When can I see it?
Don't remind us. We're still in denial that we'll be seeing Blair, Chuck et al off with an xoxo after this new lot of episodes. The beginning of the end for Gossip Girl (aka, season six premiere 'Gone Maybe Gone') will air Wednesday, October 17 on ITV2.
After that we've got a mere nine more episodes before we leave the Upper East side for good, so you better start stocking up on the tissues now. It's gonna be totally emotional.
Is Jesse Spencer's new show Chicago Fire going to be shown in the UK?
An old query this, but one that we dug out of our virtual post-bag because it's one we now have an answer to! Sky Living recently named Chicago Fire as a rather late addition to its batch of US acquisitions...
The show - from Law & Order creator Dick Wolf - sees Spencer attempt a Yank accent as Lieutenant Matthew Casey and also stars Taylor Kinney - Vampire Diaries actor and Mr Lady GaGa - as his frenemy Lieutenant Kelly Severide.
