'Glee', 'Dexter', 'Black Mirror': Tube Talk Q&A

By and Morgan Jeffery
We've got sad news to report, Tube Talk fans - this will be the last of our frankly brilliant Q&As until after Christmas. Team Digital Spy are setting out on an exciting escapade over the festive season so awesome that we simply won't be able to bring you that telly goodness you crave (okay, that's not true, we just need some time to sit around in our pants, drinking eggnog and doing naff all).

But at least the Q&A is ducking out with a belter of a mid-season finale, to use a parlance of the industry we love so much, with juicy goss about some of the most-anticipated shows of next year, including Glee and Charlie Brooker's Black Mirror. Read on, and have a Merry Christmas!

Have Sky1 announced when Glee will be back?

They totally have! After months of keeping us waiting for a proper TX date, the lovely folks at Sky finally stopped teasing us this week and announced that New Directions will be heading back to our screens on Sunday, January 6.

In case you haven't heard, season four will be shaking things up quite a bit, packing Rachel off to New York in the premiere to meet new Glee hunk Brody (Dean Geyer - that guy up there) and bitchy NYADA dance teacher Cassie July, played by Kate Hudson. There's new faces in the glee club too, like sweet, sensitive Marley (Melissa Benoist), who's reluctantly hiding an embarrassing family secret, Puck's half-brother Jake (Jacob Artist) - a bad boy like his departed relative - and Kitty (Becca Tobin), a blonde cheerleader who makes Quinn Fabray look like an angel.

Oh, and how could we forget Sarah Jessica Parker?! The Sex and the City star makes her debut in Glee's third episode as Vogue boss Isabelle Wright, giving one lucky character a makeover by way of an Annie number. Excited yet, Gleeks?

I'm so sad that Wild at Heart is finishing! When's the last episode?

We've shed many a tear over the end of Wild at Heart as well. In fact, before the announcement in April that the show would come to a close this year, the last time we'd cried so much was when Amanda Holden perished in that wildfire way back in series three.

After six years in South Africa, Stephen Tompkinson and co will be bowing out in a two-hour Wild at Heart special airing on Sunday, December 30 at 8pm on ITV1. From what we've heard, the final episode will likely feature a wedding, the theft of a three-legged cheetah and a disastrous twist that Lucy-Jo Hudson (Rosie) told Digital Spy could see the show end on a rather unhappy note (a full interview with Hudson is coming later this month, Wild at Heart fans). Whatever happens, it'll still be tough to close the door on Leopard's Den.

Is the UK getting the new season of NCIS any time soon?

FX is rebranding as Fox - Logo

A time very soon indeed - FX have confirmed to us that the smash-hit crime procedural's tenth season will launch in the UK on Friday, January 11 at 9pm. So you'll be reunited with Abby, Ducky, Gibbs and co. before you've even had the chance to lose that Christmas weight...

Highlights of the new run include the action-packed season premiere, Robert Wagner's return as DiNozzo's dad and an origin episode for Abby (Pauley Perrette). Oh, and remember - FX will be rebranding as FOX in 2013, so that'll be where you need to go for your NCIS fix!

Any more news on season two of Suits?

Oh yes, indeed. We can confirm that Patrick J Adams and Gabriel Macht will be returning to Dave as bromantic lawyer buddies Mike and Harvey on Thursday, January 24.

We at Digital Spy are huge fans of all things Suits (Gabriel in particular - *does tiger growl*), so to celebrate the arrival of season two we'll be sitting down for a series of interviews with cast members including Mr Adams and Gina Torres, who plays Jessica Pearson. Keep your eye out for all that Suits goodness on DS soon!

Is Black Mirror coming back? Three episodes wasn't enough!

Charlie Brooker's dark and disturbing anthology series will indeed be returning to Channel 4 next year - great news, right? Details about series two are still sketchy, but a few tantalising teasers have started to slip through the cracks...

For starters, one of the 2013 episodes will feature a major role for Captain America actress Hayley Atwell. And as for a transmission date, we're hearing that February is currently looking likely - though as ever, these things are subject to the whims of the schedulers...

I'm having trouble avoiding spoilers online for Dexter - please tell me that season seven starts here soon!

Soon-ish. FX - soon to be FOX - still hold the exclusive first-broadcast UK rights for Dexter and will be airing the new episodes from February 2013. So just try and duck those spoilers for a little while longer...

Trust us, it'll be worth it. The premiere pays off last season's amazing cliffhanger - which saw Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) finally learn the truth about Dexter (Michael C Hall) - and the pace just doesn't let up from there. Dexter is back on form!
