Revenge: Monday (January 7) at 9pm on E4
Our favourite soapy thriller is back - don't listen to those who call US drama Revenge a "guilty pleasure" - it's just plain good. Season two launches this week with the episode 'Destiny', in which Emily (Emily VanCamp) returns to the Hamptons intent on uncovering the fate of her mother...
We also discover the fate of glamourous super-bitch Victoria (Madeleine Stowe), who was last seen boarding a plane seconds before it burst into flames. Expect more crazy plot twists and evil death-stares than you can comfortably shake a stick at.

Primeval: New World: Tuesday (January 8) at 9pm on Watch
Another old favourite that's back, and with more bite! Alright, so the original Primeval might not be back on our screens, but new Canadian spinoff New World is a more than fitting replacement. And there's a few treats in store for fans of the original series too...
In the series premiere, genius inventor Evan Cross (Eureka's Niall Matter) and his team stumble across a dangerous Pteranodon and two Utahraptors, plus a young Brit named Connor Temple (Andrew-Lee Potts)! Be sure to tune in for plenty of dino-based fun.

Spies of Warsaw: Wednesday (January 9) at 9pm on BBC Four
Ex-Doctor Who star David Tennant returns to telly this week in this adaptation of Alan Furst's celebrated novel, penned by Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais - the acclaimed writing duo behind The Likely Lads, Auf Wiedersehen, Pet and so much more...
Tennant plays Colonel Jean-Francois Mercier in this feature-length thriller, which also stars Janet Montgomery (Black Swan, Merlin) and Torchwood's Burn Gorman. A top-flight cast, a tight script, Second World War intrigue and romance - what's not to like?

This latest series from Glee maestro Ryan Murphy tells the the story of two gay men (Justin Bartha and Andrew Rannells) who invite the surrogate mother (Georgia King) of their baby to live with them, along with her 9-year-old daughter and sharp-tongued grandmother Jane (Ellen Barkin)...
The New Normal has caused a bit of a stir in the US - critics have been split on the show's actual quality, but surely it's worth tuning in for this first episode if only to see what all the fuss has been about?
