'Walking Dead', 'Parks and Recreation', 'Fresh Meat': Tube Talk Q&A

By and Daniel Sperling
We feel we've turned a corner with you, lovely readers of Tube Talk Q&A. Before it was very much a one-sided relationship, all "Tell me what's happening with Doctor Who", "Why haven't you answered my question, you monsters?!", and we really didn't know how to take it. But now we're in a much better place - there's 'thank you's and banter and basically we're so into you we're getting rushes.

So, as a present for just being you, we've once again gone out and answered your queries on Fresh Meat, Parks and Rec and much, much more. Keep them questions coming, you beauties!

Sorry about this, but has Fresh Meat series 3 begun filming yet?

Yes.

...

Oh, you want more, do you Kadeem Graham? Go on then, but seriously... you guys have to give the Fresh Meat queries a rest. We love it too, but jeez...

So series three of E4's uni comedy is filming *RIGHT NOW* and with adorable Josie (Kimberley Nixon) having drilled her way through a poor woman's cheek last term, she's cut off from her old housemates and is stuck in Southampton...

Taking her old room is fresher Candice - played by The White Queen actress Faye Marsay - and it's not long before the newcomer catches the eye of 'ladies' man' JP (Jack Whitehall)...

That Walking Dead season four trailer is insane - do you have any scoop on the new episodes?

How's this? Executive producer Gale Ann Hurd has revealed that grizzled Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and the other survivors - who'll number 50... count 'em, 50... in the new season - will face an all-new menace, as if they didn't have their hands full with the walkers and David Morrissey's Governor!

"We have a brand new threat that I don't think anyone has seen before," Hurd revealed. "So there's fear, danger and conflict from all sides." - The Walking Dead's fourth season, in case you're wondering, will air on AMC in the US and on FOX in the UK from October.

Do you have any scoop on when Parks & Recreation are filming in London? I have to meet Amy Poehler!

The cast of 'Parks and Recreation'

Better dig out your autograph book, Tony Barret, because Parks and Recreation is coming to town this weekend! The stars of the NBC comedy are over to film scenes for the hour-long season six premiere on Sunday, July 28, as it coincides nicely with Chris Pratt's (Andy Dwyer) shooting commitments on Guardians of the Galaxy. You may also know that as the movie he got crazy buff for and former Doctor Who companion Karen Gillan shaved her head for.

Adam Scott (Ben Wyatt) and Aubrey Plaza (April Ludgate) are the only Parks and Rec cast members aside from Poehler (Leslie Knope) and Pratt thought to be jetting over to London, which kinda sucks, and we don't have word on filming locations, which sucks even more. However, we do know that the premiere storyline will see Leslie come to the capital to pick up an 'International Woman in Leadership' award. Hopefully this gossip, along with the revelation that Henry Winkler will crop up in a future episode, is enough to keep you on our good side, Tony, as you run around London like a mad man on Sunday...

Any word on when Perception is back in the UK?

You haven't heard the word? It was our understanding that everyone had heard. Perception - which stars Eric McCormack as expert FBI consultant (and paranoid schizophrenic) Dr. Daniel J Pierce - is back for season two on September 3, courtesy of Watch.

The new run of episodes opens with 'Ch-Ch-Changes', in which Daniel is asked to be an expert witness in a trial against a biker who is facing the death penalty for torturing and murdering his wife. The big hitch? The DA prosecuting the case is Kate's (Rachael Leigh Cook) ex-husband!

I love Skins, so I'm excited to hear about Joe Dempsie and Kaya Scodelario starring in Channel 4's Southcliffe. When will it be on?

The Skins nostalgia-fest continues, as fresh from returning to the character of Effy for the E4 show's final series, Kaya Scodelario reunites with first generation buddy Joe Dempsie (Chris) for Southcliffe, a dark tale from Red Riding scribe Tony Grisoni about a fictional English town that's been hit by a spate of shootings.

The pair are joined by a top notch cast including Rory Kinnear (Black Mirror), Sean Harris (Prometheus), Shirley Henderson (Anna Karenina), Eddie Marsan (Tyrannosaur), Anatol Yusef (Boardwalk Empire) and Nichola Burley (Wuthering Heights), while Martha Marcy May Marlene director Sean Durkin is behind the camera.

Sounds brilliant, right? Well luckily we don't have that much longer to wait, as Channel 4 Drama tweeted this morning that Southcliffe will begin Sunday, August 4 at 9pm. Yay! We're still a bit mad at Joe for snubbing the Skins reunion though...
