'Fresh Meat', 'Ripper Street', 'Suits': Tube Talk Q&A

By and Daniel Sperling
Much like a young Christopher Walken in Pulp Fiction, we've been sitting on precious goods, and now we're about to bring them to you in our ever-popular Tube Talk Q&A.

This week, we've got stuff to tell ya about Suits, Ripper Street and that old Q&A staple Fresh Meat. Get reading...

Fresh Meat

We know - and we can tell you! After months of waiting and dozens upon dozens of queries, the Tube Talk Q&A can finally reveal when Fresh Meat - almost certainly Q&A readers' favourite show - will return to Channel 4... and it's soon!

Series three kicks off on Channel 4 on Monday, November 4 at 10pm, but if you can't wait that long, the premiere episode will be available online via 4oD even sooner - from Monday, October 28 at 10pm. That's just FOUR DAYS to wait - ain't you lot lucky?

When are Daniel Radcliffe and Jon Hamm going to be back in A Young Doctor's Notebook?

Next month! The Harry Potter and Mad Men stars will be reuniting for a second outing of their 2012 Playhouse Presents tale, airing on Thursday, November 21 at 9pm on Sky Arts 1.

A Young Doctor's Notebook & Other Stories will pick up in 1918 Russia, one year after the collapse of the Tsarist regime, and follow Radcliffe's doctor as he struggles to cope with the influx of patients from the Civil War while battling an all-consuming morphine addiction and being constantly judged by his older self (Hamm). God, remember when Daniel's biggest problem was the prospect of the sorting hat putting him in Slytherin?

Any word on when An Adventure in Space and Time is going to air?

BBC Two's drama - it's not, writer Mark Gatiss is at pains to stress, a docu-drama - is yet to be handed a concrete airdate, for such is the way of UK television and thus shall it ever be.

However, we have heard rumblings that the plan is to screen Adventure in the same week as Doctor Who's 50th anniversary special - which hits our screens on Saturday, November 23... but you knew that already, right?

This means that we'll get to see David Bradley's uncanny William Hartnell at some point in the week commencing November 18 - so keep your calendar clear!

Any news on Suits season 3, please?

'Suits'

Yes! Our lovely friends at Dave have given us an impressively specific return period for Suits given that it's still a bit far away, confirming that it'll air in the final week of January 2014. Hoorah!

We sincerely hope that season three will see Mike (Patrick J Adams) and Harvey (Gabriel Macht) make up after their big falling out, because the sight of our two boys fighting just isn't going to help those January blues. We suppose we'll at least have the exciting arrival of Mad Dogs star Max Beesley as the 'British Harvey' to fall back on should our favourite TV bromance be done for good.

Any scoop on series two of Ripper Street?

'Ripper Street' series two cast

Since we've had already had a sneaky preview of the first episode, here's a few teasers! The first episode - which airs on Monday, October 28 at 9pm - features kung-fu, the Elephant Man, Jackson (Adam Rothenberg) getting high and Drake (Jerome Flynn) getting close to a new lady love...

No sign of new cast addition Damien Molony though - the Being Human star makes his debut in episode two as Detective Constable Albert Flight, a cocky new copper in H Division who thinks he knows better than Matthew MacFadyen's Inspector Reid how to clean up London's streets!
