The news many had been waiting for finally arrived this week: David Tennant is sticking around as the Doctor!
For the next while, at least. As well as confirming his involvement for the duration of season four and the 2008 Christmas special, Tennant has also signed up to play the Time Lord in three specials in 2009 (likely to air at Easter, in September and at Christmas).
This means there will be no full series in 2009 - a move likely to appease Tennant's desire to take on other projects - although a full fifth series has been confirmed for 2010. Whether Tennant will still be on board the Tardis then remains to be seen.
News also emerged this week on the long-awaited kids spinoff The Sarah Jane Adventures. More on that here!
Now, Rock Rivals, Simon Cowell's first foray into the world of drama. Thankfully he's not in a starring role (who can forget that Scary Movie cameo?) but is instead serving as executive producer. Phew! They always say stick to what you know, and Simon follows that advice to the letter with Rock Rivals, which is "loosely based" on X Factor.
Earlier this week we caught up with former EastEnders star Michelle Collins, who plays the show's "nice" judge, to get the lowdown on how Rock Rivals is shaping up. Click play below to watch:
It's now just over three weeks to go until Prison Break premieres on Sky One and to whet your appetite, take a look below at our exclusive snaps from the first episode:

More on what to expect from season three next time - including scoop direct from show creator Paul Scheuring!
Finally this edition, raise your glasses in celebration of the Teletubbies, who celebrate their tenth birthday this week. As a present, Tube Talk sent the 'tubs on a sightseeing tour of London - and here are the results!

Next time: News on Billie Piper's racy new drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl and exclusive gossip from Prison Break creator Paul Scheuring.
