Finally, I come bearing more information about BBC Three's mysterious new drama pilot, The Things I Haven't Told You.
The show follows a group of schoolkids in the build-up to the death of the lead character, 16-year-old Aisling Hunter (below):

What's Good:
- Rather refreshingly, TTIHTY puts the mystery - and not the characters - at its heart. The customary teen angst of Skins and the like takes a backseat for the most part.
- The plot has been cleverly thought-out and properly planned, sowing many seeds for a potential series.
- After the final scene, you'll feel cheated if you don't get a series!
- There's perhaps too much mystery crammed into the space of one hour. Everyone has an agenda, every action poses a question, and nothing is ever really resolved.
- The characters are very stereotyped: from the miserable nerd, to the spiteful rich girl and the messed-up misfit. More character realism would be welcomed.
- It's quite old-fashioned. There's nothing much to suggest it's 2008 - in fact, you'd more likely think that it's 1998.

I've just watched The Things I haven't Told You and I thought it was really great. Of course, it's a pilot, and there's a few things that could be ironed out, but all in all, from the music to the potential for character and mystery development, it was extremely engaging. Definitely the best of the BBC Three pilots so far. If The Things I Haven't Told You doesn't get a series, while the stinkbomb that was Phoo Action has, I will be extremely PEEVED!

I agree Mona! Watched it late last night and apart form one too many unanswered questions I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clearly meant to made into a series. I didn't watch Phoo Action but heard it was rubbish - apparently it was made by the BBC, hence the series!!!
