Leonie, Manchester on March 27th, 2008
I love Torchwood and Doctor Who and to those people who are having a go at it in comments...1) if you don't like it don't watch it 2) If you don't like it WHY are you looking at stories about it? Just so you can have a go? Everyone is entitled to their own opinions but c'mon guys seriously...whats the point? I don't go looking for stories on Lost and explain how crap i think it is!

Birkenhead & Mark, we are living in the 21st century, there is no place for homophobia or Racism in today's world. So GROW UP!!!!
Dan, London on March 27th, 2008
Jings, are people really that threatened by gay scenes in adult telly? Note to chap from Birkenhead: Torchwood isn't a kids show, maybe they shouldn't be watching in the first place. And Mark, Manchester: The black population of all of Wales runs to about 0.02%, so don't cry racism to justify your own homophobia eh?

"...very, very upset." What? Why? Nooooo? Please don't let it be, that our gorgeous Cap'n Jack befalls some heinous fate at the hands of Spike???? I couldn't bear it! *sob* Hurry up 4th April!
Steve, Preston on March 27th, 2008
Have absolutely loved this series of Torchwood. Absolute agony having to wait till April 4th for the last episode. Why are people so annoyed about the gay moments. Come on this is the 21st Century. It happens. Gay people dont find straight moments offensive !!!!!!
Mark, Manchester on March 27th, 2008
frankly this last season of torchwood has set my telly alight .. with the amount of gays flamming on it ... seriously we get it some of the cast are gay it occensional feels like i've been hit round the head with a copy of the gay times .. am all for diversity in sci fi but heres a thought no black people in cardiff .. gays wevills the undead plenty but not a black guy or girl a hunred sq miles freeman is one but hardly a huge role and no talented writing, no pithe diologue frankly torchwood has become flat and stale ... to be honest this show needs to focus less on character devolpment and more with actual events and action....less flashbacks more action.. and james masters was wasted .. renagade time agent... cool so what does he do ... act like a thirtneen yr old schoolgirl spurned he's an idea recouring character chasing bad guys happens to run into jack and gang now and again .. or being bad ass smugling people or creatures throught the rift ... like people trafficing or drug running like an interstallar/ transtempal version of the bill just a thought @ birkenhead its not a kids show aimed squarely at teenagers and young adults mark

Cannot WAIT for the finale!! I have to say, I adore Torchwood, and this season has had a huge upturn in quality (I'll give you 'meat' though :p) There's a lot of silly rumours running amok, Burns Gorman said he's signed on for season 3, and if Owen gets to live through it then..well. I may have a fit if Ianto doesn't make it (in some form) to season 3. Infact, I know I will. HOWEVER! So glad Cpt.John Hart is back ^.~!! He's a pile of over-sexed fun ;)

I Love Torchwood. I Think This Season Has Been Simply Amazing. The Writing Has Been Great. There Have Been Only 2 Weak Episodes In My Opinion, But I Don't Hate Them. 'Very Very Upset' That Spells Death To Me :( Noooooooooooooo Come On The 4th :)
Barry Rix, Chelmsford on March 26th, 2008
I liked the first series of Torchwood, but for me series two has gone wrong. I lost interest after the Owen 'Mr Dead' episode, (why ?) and I'm sorry to say, the frequent gay moments, have got annoying. For a science fiction series that should be so good, it's a great shame.

I like torchwood, but as a children's programe/ adult I do not like having homosexual things pushed down the tv every time this bloke comes on. If homosexuals want to behave as they do, ok but do not do it in front of me or my children.
Doctor Who Lover, UK on March 26th, 2008
Uh oh. I was browsing forums and from a certain picture the rumours appear true. Please no :'( Torchwood has been very good this series, a few "OMG this can't be happening look away now" moments but hey. I hope we don't have to wait over a year for series 3 like series 2. And how mean, making us wait 2 whole weeks for the finale!!! Please let everyone who works for Torchwood live! (Including Owen sorta)
Jen, US on March 26th, 2008
Are you sure about that airdate, Neil? Current BBC2 scheduling has it on this Friday, the 28th.
Kat, from somewhere on March 26th, 2008
Wooo! the monsters back from doctor who, the one from love and monsters that the doctor was trying to bribe with a piece of meat! you see him wack against a door at owen on the trailer!!!
Lee, York on March 26th, 2008
TW series 2 has been brilliant, anyone who says otherwise has no taste whatsoever. Very excited about the finale, Can't wait for series 3. Nuff said!!!
Musherum, London on March 26th, 2008
Is that a grave they are digging? Square hole? Looks a hell of a lot of soil next to so would be very deep. Anyway its well known they send out an ambigious message to keep us guessing... and usually end up been disapointed in the end result.

Jack can't die as in the last season of Doctor Who he told them he used to be known as the Face of Boa. Who did actually die earlier in the series. I'm loving Torchwood. Okay, there were a few episodes this season that were poor but its only in its second season. Now they've established the characters more I think season three could be better.
Anthony, Somerset on March 26th, 2008
Jack can't die? Can he? And he's in Series 4 of Dr Who, yes? So that leaves someone else.... ...please not Ianto.....please not Ianto!
Victoria, Cambridge on March 26th, 2008
'very, very upset'??? I'm really worried now... Who dies????? On a better note, I loved this season of Torchwood, the stories and acting are usually very good. Roll on April 4th!
Cate, NYC on March 26th, 2008
I love the show and think they decerve a lot of credit for pushing the envelope and trying to be different. It may not always work, but it's always interesting and leave you talking! I'd hate to see anyone go, but with sci-fi there is always the chance of them returning!
Bob, Denver, Colorado, USA on March 26th, 2008
All the finale means to me is that it will be months till series 3 begins.... I guess I'l have to concentrate on work instead... crap.
Joe, Liverpool on March 25th, 2008
I've read that [.... cough, cough, all speculation... -Neil] If it's true, I don't know. This series of Torchwood has definitely improved, although it has had some duff episodes (Meat, anyone?). And Torchwood is *nothing* like Buffy - Buffy was better. :)
Gem, Manchester on March 25th, 2008
Please, please, please tell me the rumours aren't true!!!
Chris, North East on March 25th, 2008
I love Torchwood - this season has been amazing - both the writing and acting has been amazing. Barrowman rules!
Alex, Newport on March 25th, 2008
No starred out quotes for us to guess at yet Neil? :p (Maybe next week... -Neil)
Jen, Daz, Cagsy & Pete, Liverpool. on March 25th, 2008
Okay we above would love it if everyone could please stop comparing Buffy to Torchwood as Buffy is in a league of it's own. However we do love torchwood and don't like the idea that Neil is VERY VERY UPSET....... I hope Reece is ok as we all love Reece!
Scoobie, Dundee on March 25th, 2008
Jon, for someone who doesn't care, you protesth too much? Let it go, man! Just let it go! :o) For the rest of us who DO happen to like the show, I'm concerned as to what Neil means when he says that he's very VERY upset.....?
Jonathan, London on March 25th, 2008
Looks great. I think this season has been a triumph. Love the show, the actors and the writing. Very Buffyesque. Well done. Now I can't wait for Dr Who. Will John Barrowman be joining David, Catherine, Billie and Freema.
Eliot, London on March 25th, 2008
God help me... I've watched every episode of Torchwood, and I've come to the conclusion that they employ the writers that no-one else would have. I've never seen such terrible stories and dialogue, outside of 70s kids shows on ITV. (Having said that, the one with Jim Robinson was ok - plot was ropey, but the dialogue wasn't embarrassing. And the actors are ok, got nothing against them, I just feel sorry for them.) Torchwood needs to shape up or ship out.
Jon, London on March 25th, 2008
I've stopped watching this now. I'm sick of John Barrowman now and as for the others - yawn. Not one of them can act (except for that one in the suit, he's OK). Totally over them and the show. It's like all the left overs from the Dr Who cutting room floor - the stuff that wasn't good enough. Boring and a waste of time.
Kim, Cardiff on March 25th, 2008
I really hope that's not Jack's grave Captain John is digging :/ roll on April 4th :D
