Swag Battle: ITV vs UKTV Style

Regular readers may recall that I've previously spoken quite highly of UKTV's promotional efforts. In the past I've been treated to toffee apples (UKTV Food), a mini trowel set (UKTV Gardens) and a generously-filled autumnul hamper (UKTV Food again). So imagine my surprise when a beautifully-wrapped package from UKTV Style landed on my desk earlier today.
Inside, a beautiful fluffy robe with matching slippers!
Last week ITV sent out a pack of seeds to promote Pushing Daisies. On the surface, quite a clever idea, but when you think about it, there were more fitting alternatives available. WHERE'S MY APPLE PIE?!?!?
Broadcasters, PR teams: the ball is now in your court. Are you a seed-sender or a robe provider?
