Q&A: 'Daisies' ep unearthed, 'Sarah Jane', more

It's Friday! It's a Bank Holiday Weekend! It's... the Q&A!

Can life get any better?

Ollie: "Hi is there any news on Spooks series 7? Did Jo survive the series finale, will Ruth return, is Richard Armitage a permenant fixture? Loving Tube Talk, keep up the good work!"
Neil: Richard Armitage will be a permanent fixture in the new series, in addition to his Hood duties. He plas Lucas, an MI5 operative who has spent the last eight years in a Russian prison but finally earns his freedom thanks to Harry. Other returning characters include Ros, Adam (for a while), Malcolm, Connie and Ben (now a full member of the team). Jo is back - for the first episode, at least.

Christine: "I've seen a trailer for Scarlet. Can you tell me if it's going to be coming to UK screens and if so which channel will show it?"
Neil: I have no idea what you're talking about.

Fiona: "When is Private Practice coming to the UK? Thanks"
Neil: Not long now! Expect July time on Living.

Richard Cooke: "Supernatural! I hear the budget is being cut again! why or why? Would it get more money if it was on fox?"
Neil: Probably, but does it necessarily need it? The genius of a show like that is in the story-telling, which it does very well. Anyway, let's not complain; we got our fourth season!

Christine: "Ok so after internet research I can conclude that I was well and truely sucked in by the fake trailer for Scarlet! Very cleverly done though."
Neil: I still have no idea what you're talking about.

Ian: "Hi i was just wondering when Scrubs starts back on E4 as you told us it would be back in April? I was also wondering if you thought they would cancel CSI after William Peterson leaves?"
Neil: CSI isn't going anywhere for a while yet. As for Scrubs, the new season starts next Thursday (May 8). Somebody hasn't been checking The PLP as often as they should, have they? Somebody else hasn't been updating it as often as he probably should, but that's not for here.

Diane: "Please can you tell me when the greatest tv show in years will broadcast the 2nd season Moonlight. New season has just begun to air in the US on 25/04/2008 on CBS."
Neil: Hate to break it to you, but those are just the final few episodes of season one. Season two has yet to be commissioned, although it stands a decent chance.

nick Halliday: "Now that iPlayer is available on seemingly every platform imaginable, and an increasing number of UK shows appearing on iTunes, when will the other broadcasters catch up? 4OD is all well and good when its free, but i cant watch it on my iPhone."
Neil:

jess: "Any news on season THREE of Heroes when it will be filmed and broadcast in US???"
Neil: Filming on season three actually started yesterday (May 1). It begins in the US with a two-hour premiere in September. Your guess is as good as mine for when it will air on BBC Two.

handymelon: "Neil - Pleeeeeeeeease!!! Tell us what you know about Hustle! You gave us a little knowing hint about two months ago and since then not a sound nor a word. Have pity!!!!"
Neil: I could say, but then I'm afraid Tony Jordan might come and personally come and gun me down. So here's a cryptic hint: "It's * ***, *** ***** *** ***** ** ** be ****** *** ** ** ** *******.

Shell: "Pushing Daisies started whilst I was on holiday, and thanks to this great website, I knew before watching the "Pie-lette" that ITV weren't going to be showing episode 2. Do you know if the DVD that's being released on 23rd June will have all 9 episodes? (ie should I delete all the episodes I've recorded so far & wait 'til the DVD comes out?!)"
Neil: I wouldn't worry about deleting the episodes - ITV decided to cut the only episode they could without infringing upon the ongoing narrative. So this extra episode could effectively be viewed as a standalone. And I'm pleased to report that it is on the DVD set!

Val: "Hi Neil, do you know if the BBC is planning to release sereis 1 of The Sarah Jane Adventures on DVD?"
Neil: A full season one set - including the previously-released pilot - is planned for this Autumn to coincide with the transmission of season two. Hurrah!
