There's a good old-fashioned murder mystery in this week's Doctor Who, as The Doc comes face-to-face with Agatha Christie. And a giant wasp.

In the garden, with the paper
The duo land in 1920s Britain at the grounds of Lady Eddison (Felicity Kendal), who is throwing a small party for friends and associates, including legendary crime writer Agatha Christie (Fenella Woolgar). Everyone is having a good time, until Professor Peach is murdered in the library with a lead pipe. Seriously.
... and so, a murder mystery ensues, with Donna, The Doctor and Agatha teaming up to interrogate each of the party guests.
The Unicorn and The Wasp
The wasp in question is in fact an alien life form called the Vespiform, which begins to terrorise the already-fraught guests, for reasons unknown. A murder mystery wouldn't be a murder mystery without some clues, so a locked room, a mysterious pendant and a secret past all come into play too.
But what about The Unicorn? Well, it's not so much of a what...
Another mystery solved
How about this for a bonus twist: the story is set on the day of Agatha Christie's mysterious 11-day disappearance.
Say What?
Here are some select quotes from the episode, with the now-customary stars inserted to keep you wondering. Add your guesses at the end of the column!
"All this **** will be the death of you."
"One must be sure with the Unicorn on the loose."
"The thrill is in the ****e, never in the c*****e."
"Tell me there's no Noddy!"
"There are no such things as giant wasps."
"D**** comes as the end - and justice is served."
And finally...
Make sure you steer clear of any rumours about the highly-anticipated season finale. Lots of them are true, but at the same time many are false and half-truths. Don't spoil yourselves!

For some reason I think the Unicorn is a person. Could the Unicorn be Agatha Christie? Could it be Rose?
