Going loco down in Monte Carlo
Published Wednesday, Jun 11 2008, 17:07 BST | By Neil Wilkes | 1 comment

Imagine my complete lack of enthusiasm, therefore, when confronted with this week's task. I had to board a plane - yes, board a plane! - and travel to Nice, before being whisked away to the neighbouring state of Monaco for the prestigious Monte Carlo TV Festival.
So far I've had to endure:
1. relentless sunshine
2. boring, white sandy beaches
3. nauseating tropical cocktails
4. time in the company of the small screen's finest talent
It's lunacy, I tell you!
Sarcastic intro? Check! Here's the sanitised version:
The Monte Carlo TV Festival is an annual event of screenings, red carpet galas and press conferences attended by actors, producers and journalists from all around the world. As one of said journalists, I'll be chatting to some of said actors and said producers over the coming days. My scoop sacks have never been more bulging, let me tell you.
Check back in later today for an exclusive chat with Desperate Housewives star Dana Delany
(*) Ahem - Q&A will be back again very soon...
