Wisteria Lane is to get a new resident as Lily Tomlin has joined the cast of Desperate Housewives.
According to TV Fanatic, the 9 To 5 star will play a character who arrives on the street in order to help an ill sibling.
Desperate Housewives returned to Channel 4 screens last week.
