The Weather Channel

The Weather Channel in large part suspended its regular First Outlook and Your Weather Today breakfast fare in favour of non-stop hurricane coverage. On-camera meteorologists delivered strong live reports from the field backed up by analysis from the channel's Tropical Weather Expert, Dr. Steve Lyons in Atlanta.
CNN

Of the main cable news channels, CNN significantly outperformed its rivals. The interactions between CNN's severe weather expert and the network's field correspondents made for compelling television, accentuated by a fluidic approach to anchoring: whomever had the most relevant information at any given moment was given the airtime to relay details to the audience.
NBC

Today's weatherman Al Roker was literally blown over by the storm: after stepping outside to do a live report, Roker, famed for his weight loss, hit the deck. Check out TVNewser for more pics and dialogue snippets.
