'Sopranos' to star in 'Sesame Street'

Stars of the The Sopranos Tony Sirico and Steve Schirripa are being lined up as guests for a Sesame Street Christmas special.

The Hollywood Reporter claims that the show, titled 'Elmo's Christmas Countdown', will be a star studded affair, featuring Oscar winners Jamie Foxx and Jennifer Hudson, Ben Stiller, Sheryl Crow and Alicia Keys.

Meet the Parents actor Stiller will voice the muppet narrator, Stiller the Elf, while Foxx, Hudson, Keys and Crow will play themselves in the show.

Sirico and Schirripa, who played Paulie 'Walnuts' Gualtieri and Bobby 'Bacala' Baccalieri in the hit US mob drama, will send up their hard men image, acting out a sketch as the popular children's characters Burt and Ernie.
