Gwyneth Paltrow is to film her own cooking show for US TV.
The Oscar-winning actress - who sticks to a macrobiotic diet - will travel around Spain sampling the local delicacies with chef Mario Batali.
She will kick off the two-month tour in October, leaving behind her husband Chris Martin and children Apple and Moses.
Channel 4 and ITV are bidding for the rights to show the programme, which is being made by the American channel PBS.
The 34-year-old spent many childhood holidays in Spain and claims she adores the food, saying: "I eat all that [Spanish] stuff. The crazy fish things, the eels, I love it all."
A source told the Daily Mail: "This is so far removed from what Gwyneth is used to that the show is sure to be a ratings winner. It can't fail. Even if it's proper car-crash TV it will be entertaining at least."
