The films include 3:10 to Yuma, Saw II and Good Luck Chuck and will become available for the channel to air as other deals finish in 2009 and 2010.
It is Lionsgate's biggest ever one-off television rights deal.
USA Network's senior vice president of programming acquisitions Jane Blaney said: "This deal really works for our networks because Lionsgate is offering such a diversified package of movies."
Under the deal the Sci Fi Channel will get television premieres for Saw II and Skinwalkers and rights to other films including The Toolbox Murders.
