THE SOURCE HIP-HOP MUSIC AWARDS 2001
THE SOURCE HIP-HOP MUSIC AWARDS has rapidly become the event of the year for African-American teens. Last year’s presentation on UPN, which featured performances by hip-hop superstars Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Lil' Kim, Jay Z and The Cash Money Millionaires, earned higher ratings among African-American teens than The Super Bowl, The Oscars, The Grammys and The MTV Movie Awards.
This year, celebrities from the worlds of music, movies, television and sports will once again come together to celebrate America's most popular musical genre and to present the winners in categories, including Artist of the Year, Group of the Year and Album of the Year.
The special is produced by Source Broadcast Media, LLC.
MO'NIQUE’S HOLIDAY HOUSE PARTY
Star of the hit UPN series THE PARKERS, Mo'Nique invites viewers into her home for a holiday special with a unique urban flavour -- and a liberal dose of her outrageous sense of humour. The actress/comedienne plays host to friends, family and other celebrities as she shares some intimate holiday moments. And you can rest assured that there will be some surprise, caught-on-tape moments for the host as well.

IRON CHEF SHOWDOWN IN LAS VEGAS
Actor William Shatner will host two one-hour specials of IRON CHEF SHOWDOWN IN LAS VEGAS, UPN's all-new Americanized version of the phenomenally successful Japanese culinary show "Iron Chef."

William Shatner contributes his trademark sense of humour and entertaining style to his role as "Chairman."
In each show, a Challenger (chef) is sent into the Chairman's "Kitchen Stadium," a giant cooking arena, where he or she competes against one of four Iron Chefs who specialize in American, Italian, French and Asian cooking.
The competing chefs are given one hour to prepare an exotic meal in which each course must feature a secret ingredient that is revealed only moments before the battle begins. A panel of four celebrity judges taste and critique the food before determining whose cuisine will reign supreme.

MANHUNT
From the World Wrestling Federation's Vince McMahon and "7 Days’" executive producer Christopher Crowe comes MANHUNT, a larger-than-life reality game where the rules and the results are as outrageous as the WWF itself.
MANHUNT follows 13 ordinary people on a 6 day adventure of forging rivers, climbing mountains and cutting through dense jungle foliage, all while being hunted by man's most dangerous natural enemy: man himself!
The skillful hunters are a cast of wicked, colorful and competitive characters (not unlike the personas made popular by the World Wrestling Federation) tracking the contestants as they follow clues in search of a treasure chest that awaits the eventual winner of a quarter of a million dollars!
Vince McMahon and Chris Crowe serve as executive producers with Bob Jaffe as co-executive producer. It is produced by World Wrestling Federation Entertainment, Inc., Paramount Network Television and Bob Jaffe Productions.
REBUILD YOUR LIFE
This season, UPN offers adventurous families the chance to find out what it would be like to escape their daily routines and REBUILD YOUR LIFE. From Endemol Entertainment comes a reality series where families are given the opportunity to start over in an exotic location free from the stresses of their day-to-day lives.
There's one catch: each family will be challenged to excel at a life unfamiliar to them. They will build a house, gather and eat food from the wild (not off a supermarket shelf) and exist without the familiar creature comforts of home, such as a telephone or television.
The rules are simple. The families are transported to an island where they are given a limited time to build a house, a la Swiss Family Robinson, while cameras record the contestants every move and watch as relationships develop under exceptionally tough conditions. The family who builds the nicest home using indigenous material wins. The winning family is given money to build their dream home back in the States.
But, if they so choose, they may remain indefinitely on the island, where they have spent the last thirty days rebuilding their lives.
REBUILD YOUR LIFE is executive produced by John de Mol ("Big Brother"). The show is a production of Endemol Entertainment, USA.
