Tim Roth to lead 'Lie To Me' for Fox
Tim Roth has been cast in the lead role of Fox drama Lie To Me.

The actor will play "human lie detector" Dr. Cal Lightman, who uses his ability to read body language and speech to aid criminal and private investigations.

The story is based on real techniques developed by Dr. Paul Ekman. Lie To Me will also explore their effect on Dr. Lightman's personal life.

Fox has ordered 13 episodes of the show, which it expects to begin airing early next year.

Meanwhile, Brian Hallisay has agreed to co-star in Privileged, The CW's new drama centring on Megan, a well-educated woman working as a life coach for two rich 16-year-old twin girls. Hallisay will play a potential love interest for Megan.

Easy Money, another new drama for The CW, has added Jeff Hephner, Jay R. Ferguson and Katie Lowes. All three will play siblings in a family of loan sharks.
