'Shield' star gets 'Sons Of Anarchy' role

Karnes has signed up to play a federal alcohol and firearms detective in the series for FX, which is also created by Shield executive producer Kurt Sutter. The show will follow a motorcycle club battling to protect its Californian home town from outsiders.
Meanwhile, Meghan Markle and Kellan Lutz (Twilight) have been hired to The CW's Beverly Hills, 90210 spinoff, called 90210.
Markle will play good-looking West Beverly Hills High student Wendy, while Lutz has the role of wealthy lacrosse player George Evans.
