Griffin to host NBC's 'Average Joe'

Kathy Griffin is to host the latest reality dating series in the US -- NBC's 'Average Joe'.
The format isn't particularly hard to get to grips with -- think 'The Bachelorette', 'Joe Millionaire' or 'Mr Personality' and you're there.
One eligible young attractive female will move into a multi-million dollar mansion to be wooed by sixteen bachelors. Gradually she'll ditch the guys until she's left with the one she wants to be with ('The Bachelorette').
But there's a twist (here comes 'Joe Millionaire'). The house will be full of normal guys, not the young handsome studs she assumes will be lusting after her.
The series will follow the girl, a former beauty queen and NFL cheerleader, through the process. Will she opt for the relatively good-looking guys or go for the ones with good hearts? (and there we have 'Mr Personality').
Griffin, who won ABC's 'Celebrity Mole' miniseries earlier in the year, will take up the role of 'confidant', grilling the bachelorette on her choice of contestants.
