'ER' renewed for two more years

Hit medical drama ER is assured of at least two more years on air following the extension of NBC's current deal to broadcast the show.
The deal will keep the show on TV screens through its twelfth season in 2005-06.
Jeff Zucker, NBC Entertainment President, said: "ER recently celebrated its landmark 200th episode and has never been stronger creatively. We are thrilled to have secured its critical spot on our Thursday night line-up where, after so many years, it continues to thrive."
