Eminem offered HBO TV show

Controversial rapper Eminem could soon be starring in his own TV show, the Daily Star reports today.
Sources at US cable network HBO said that the show -- which would be worth a cool £1.5 million per episode to the star -- would be "controversial and raunchy."
Eminem, 30, would play a character similar to himself -- a "filthy rich rap star from the wrong side of the tracks."
A pilot script has been written already; the working title of the series is simply Rap. HBO is understood to be pursuing the show as a replacement for Sex and the City, which ends after this season.
