'Chuck' exec praises Nicole Richie

Chuck's executive producer Josh Schwartz has praised Nicole Richie for her attitude on the set of the show.

The socialite recently filmed a cameo appearance as a malicious cheerleader on the NBC programme.

Schwartz revealed that he was most impressed by Richie's approach to the show's fight scenes.

"She was really into the action," he told People magazine. "She was like, 'how much am I allowed to kick, and when can I start kicking it?' She came really prepared."

Schwartz added: "She was just really sweet. Everyone really enjoyed working with her."

Richie's appearance on the show will air in the autumn.
