John Masius's drama pilot Time Heals has been handed a green light by TNT, says The Hollywood Reporter.
The Sony Pictures TV project will revolve around Nancy Hawthorne, an altruistic director of nursing at North Carolina's Charlotte Mercy Hospital who juggles her career with the demands of being a single mum.
Masius, who created Touched By An Angel and Providence, will executive produce the pilot with Jamie Tarses.
The cable network earlier acquired Joel Surnow's Night And Day, a drama set in the world of contraband law enforcement.
