CNN and Rock the Vote, a non-profit, non-partisan organisation dedicated to engaging America's youth in the political process, are co-hosting a "Democratic Presidential Candidate Forum" on November 4th.

America Rocks the Vote, a live town-hall meeting in which young voters will be able to directly question the Democratic presidential candidates, will be moderated by Anderson Cooper. Cooper joined CNN in 2001 after working at ABC News and presenting ABC's reality show The Mole.

Princell Hair, the new executive vice president and general manager of CNN, said:

"CNN is thrilled to provide a forum to young people to directly question Democratic candidates vying for the presidency. This is an opportunity for us to expand on our political coverage to hear from candidates about issues not normally raised in more traditional debates."

The live show will air on CNN/US and CNN Radio from 7-8:30pm ET.

Rock the Vote's president, Jehmu Greene, said:

"This forum will spotlight the issues relevant to young voters at this early stage in the Democratic primary. We'll get a chance to hear what young people are thinking about, and we'll make the candidates really speak to young people for a change. There will be lots of ways for young people to participate, and we hope they will run with it."
