Balfour cast in Sci-Fi's 'Gargoyle'

Eric Balfour has joined the cast of the Sci-Fi Channel's Rise Of The Gargoyle, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The two-hour telefilm focuses on an ancient monster who terrorises modern-day Paris. Balfour, known for his role as Milo Pressman on 24, will play a struggling writer who has devoted his life to studying stone gargoyles.

Caroline Neron, Jason Salinger, Nick Mancuso and Tanya Clarke will also star in the visual effects-driven movie, which is shooting in Romania.

TV veteran Bill Corcoran is on board to direct, with Francois Sylvestre and Andreea Stanculeanu serving as producers.
