Begley Jr. added to 'Gary' cast

Ed Begley Jr. has been added to the cast of CBS's new comedy Gary Unmarried, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The show focuses on a newly-divorced dad played by Jay Mohr. Begley will play the family therapist who counsels Gary and his wife Allison (Paula Marshall), to whom Begley's character is engaged.

In the pilot, the role was played by Larry Miller.

Begley's other screen credits include Six Feet Under, Arrested Development and the upcoming comedy film Pineapple Express.
