Showtime acquires ITV's 'Bob and Rose'

ITV's Bob and Rose has become the latest British show to make the transatlantic hop after being purchased by Showtime Networks.
The six-episode drama will air on the Showtime Women channel on October 22. Starring Alan Davies alongside Leslie Sharp, Bob and Rose follows the story of a gay man and a straight woman who fall in love. It was written by Russell T. Davies, of Queer as Folk fame.
