A ninety minute Fear Factor special family edition will feature four teams of one parent and one child, NBC has announced.
In a press release, the network said:
"Joe Rogan hosts the four challenges including leaping from water raft to raft while being pulled across a lake by a speed boat and a corn syrup shower followed by a head dunk in a tank full of worms. Then one of the parents must remove the worms and put them in a bowl - using only their mouth.
"Under the supervision of professional Hollywood stunt coordinators, the much-discussed “Fear Factor??? pits the teams of families against each other, extreme challenges -- and themselves -- in the hope of taking home a cash prize of $50,000 at the end of the episode. In addition to the cash prize, contestants from Long Beach, CA; Parker, CO; Berkley, MI; and Whitehall, OH compete for a trip to the Caribbean."
The special airs Monday, November 24 on NBC from 8 to 9:30pm Eastern.
