'Frasier' could return for twelfth season

Speculation is running rampant in the US press that NBC sitcom Frasier could return for a twelfth season, despite it being widely believed that the current season would be the show's last.

In an appearance on CBS' Late Show with Craig Kilborn, Kelsey 'Frasier Crane' Grammer said:

"If someone called and said, 'We really want you back for another year,' I'd probably figure out some way to make that happen. But that call hasn't come."

NBC's entertainment president, Jeff Zucker, dropped an even bigger hint referring to Friends' return for another season:

"The door is still ajar, and you know what happened the last time I left the door ajar," he told trade publication Daily Variety.
