'Chuck' gets full second season order

Network executives decided to go ahead with the full season order after viewing the first six episodes of season two, which premieres on September 29.
The first season of the programme, created by Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak, was cut short last year due to the effects of the WGA strike, but it was an impressive performer for NBC.
"We couldn't be more excited with the creative direction Josh and his team are executing on Chuck, " NBC Entertainment executive vice-president Teri Weinberg said. "This show has really hit its stride and deserves a full-season commitment to carry out the producers' vision for this unique series."
Chuck follows the adventures of computer expert Chuck Bartowski, who has the world's biggest spy secrets embedded in his brain after opening an email from the CIA.
