'Game Show Network' becomes 'GSN'
Published Sunday, Jan 11 2004, 20:26 GMT | By James Welsh
The Game Show Network is following the trend started by the Entertainment and Sports Programming Network (better-known as ESPN) and The Learning Channel (now just TLC), and will rename itself GSN in March.
The renaming of the network will co-incide with the launch of a GSN original series, Fake-A-Date, hosted by Joe Millionaire's Evan Marriott. That series forms part of a new overall programme schedule, which will see the channel include more interactive games and original programming alongside its staple of reruns of old game shows.
