David Spade will join the cast of ABC's 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter, it was announced today.

Spade is well-known for his role of Dennis Finch in Just Shoot Me; he's also been an SNL cast member and recently appeared in the Dickie Roberts motion picture.

He'll join the cast as C.J., Cate's "wayward nephew."
