Ramsay's wife gets US TV deal

Gordon Ramsay's wife Tana has signed a deal to present a cookery show in the US.

A source for the Fox network commented: "Tana is being groomed to be a TV star in America in her own right and has signed her own deal."

Tana will film a pilot programme about home cooking for mums, with husband Gordon this week signing on for another two seasons of Kitchen Nightmares and Hell's Kitchen.

However, the pair, who have four children, are not keen on moving their kids from British schools and plan to fit in their US TV work during holidays.

Gordon Ramsay was this week cleared of wrongdoing after he ate a puffin during an episode of his Channel 4 show The F Word.

The episode was filmed in Iceland and regulator Ofcom decided that the bird is part of the national diet there and was killed in a humane fashion.
