MSNBC's Nachman dies at 57

MSNBC Vice President and Editor-in-Chief Jerry Nachman has died at the age of 57, it was confirmed today.
Nachman had been fighting cancer for the past year and passed away overnight at his New Jersey home.
Bob Wright, NBC Chairman and CEO, said:
"Jerry was well-informed, candid, witty, and charming. He was also a gifted newsman and executive, and his passing is a loss not just to NBC but to the entire profession. Our hearts go out to his friends and family."
