Holmes was "exquisite" on 'Eli Stone'

Katie Holmes's cameo in the legal drama Eli Stone was "exquisite", according to ABC president Stephen McPherson.

Co-star Natasha Henstridge told People that Holmes was "statuesque and gorgeous" in the role, which required dancing and singing skills.

The actress agreed to guest star in the show after being recruited by executive producer Greg Berlanti, who she worked with on Dawson's Creek.

The episode will air in the US on October 21.
