Barbara Walters is leaving ABC News' long-running newsmagazine 20/20, the New York Times reported on Monday.
The paper reports that Walters will not anchor the show beyond September, even though her contract has more than a year left to run. The paper also reports that it is likely that ABC will seek to revamp the show entirely after Walters' departure - ABC News chief David Westin is quoted as saying:
"I think we'll remodel it into a completely different kind of show."
