Bacon develops 'Booths' for Showtime

According to Variety, the show will delve into the lives of brothers Edwin, Junius Brutus Jr. and John Wilkes Booth and their dysfunctional relationship.
John Wilkes Booth, the son of a British Shakespearean actor, assassinated President Lincoln at Ford's Theatre during a performance of Our American Cousin on April 14, 1865.
The Booths is currently seeking a writer.
Bacon made his directorial debut at Showtime with 1996's Losing Chase. He has also helmed episodes of wife Kyra Sedgwick's TV show The Closer and the movie Loverboy.
