'Little Britain USA' role for Beckhams?

David and Victoria Beckham would reportedly like to make an appearance in the American version of Little Britain.

The News Of The World claims that the pair are good friends with comedians David Walliams and Matt Lucas and have discussed the possibility of a cameo in the series.

"It all depends on whether the Beckhams like the script and gags," a source told the newspaper.

Little Britain USA has so far received mixed reviews from critics.

"Little Britain's laughs are as puny as its ambitions," said Brian Lowry for Variety, while USA Today reviewer Robert Bianco praised the duo's "speed, skill and good humour".
