CBS and NBC are targeting David E. Kelley's new untitled legal pilot, says The Hollywood Reporter.
The creator of law shows The Practice and Ally McBeal, Kelley has written a spec script for Warner Bros TV with major broadcasters lining up bids for the project.
Kelley's relationship with CBS is strong, having collaborated on The Brotherhood Of Poland, NH, Chicago Hope and Picket Fences with the network. He previously worked on LA Law for NBC.
Boston Legal, Kelley's Practice spinoff, is wrapping production on its final 13 episodes for ABC.
